French Doors And Patio Doors
French doors are designed to let in lots of light from outside. The stylish door sometimes has multiple windows set into it, over the full length of the door. Traditional French doors are assembled from individual small double glazed units. These doors are also known as true divided lite French doors. French doors may instead have one large double glazed unit and be divided by a decorative Georgian Bar embedded between the panes.
Patio doors, function in a similar way as they allow lots of natural light in but are a sliding door and usually one pane of glass. A sliding door is ideal for space saving as you don't need room to open the door outwards or inwards.
